L'étiqueteuse DYMO LabelWriter est utilisable assez simplement sous Ubuntu grâces aux pilotes fournis.


=====Installation=====

<note important>Ne brancher l'imprimante qu'après avoir installé les pilotes</note>

Depuis la 14.04, il existe le paquet **[[apt>printer-driver-dymo]]** pour simplifier installation
====Prérequis====

Installer d'abord les paquetages suivants : 

[[apt://libcupsimage2-dev]] et [[apt://gcc]] [[apt://libcups2-dev ]] [[apt://libcairo2-dev]] et [[apt://g++]]

<code>sudo apt-get install libcupsimage2-dev gcc libcups2-dev libcairo2-dev g++</code>

====Téléchargement & Installation des pilotes====

Nouvelle version **dymo-cups 1.4.0.5** (février 2012)

<code> wget http://download.dymo.com/Software/Linux/dymo-cups-drivers-1.4.0.tar.gz </code>

extraire les fichiers dans le répertoire de votre choix

<code> tar -xvf dymo-cups-drivers-1.4.0.tar.gz 
cd dymo-cups-drivers-1.4.0/</code>

puis  **dans le dossier dymo-cups**

<code>./configure 
make 
sudo make install
</code>

Brancher l'imprimante

L'installation et la configuration se fera tout seul.

====Configuration====

Pour pouvoir utiliser les formats d'étiquettes il faut configurer ceci dans CUPS :

[[http://localhost:631]]

Puis dans Imprimantes > Définir les options de l'imprimante > Général > Media Size

=====Ubuntu 11.10=====

Il existe une erreur de compilation pour la version 11.10

 il faut modifier le fichier **Halftoning.h** dans /dymo-cups-drivers-1.2.0/common/src 

et le fichier  **LabelWriterDriver.h** dans /dymo-cups-drivers-1.2.0/src/lw

et rajouter ceci : 

<code>#include <stdlib.h></code>

... juste au-dessus de la ligne «#include» existante au début du fichier.
